I don't usually do art based on stories or myths but I really wanted to try something knew. The story of Cupid and Psyche has always been my favorite myth since I started taking Latin, so I chose that as my inspiration.

I wanted a pose that was able to show the viewer the sudden blooming passion between the two. The 'cloud' that surrounds them is supposed to show the dream-like feeling of falling in love. I also like how they aren't quite kissing but they're about to, I think it expresses a need for eachother.

I can't believe your 2 years younger then me. I wish I could draw on the computer like that when i was 16. Almost everything preportion wise seems to be right. Some parts looks a bit seperated, for example cupids arm. The colors are very muddy and look unfinished.. but the sense of action seems to pop up more. I like this a lot except for the small color palette you used, it makes it look more of a sketch then a finished piece.
Well, I hope this is sort of helpful for you! Ill give you full points.

Your best so far! I think the girl's collarbone is a little off and her right shoulder is a little too small, but everything else is great

Very nice

I really like the poses, the composition is nice too.
What I'd liek to see is a bit more color-rich palette.
There are also some proportional issues, like the throat/neck of Eros. It's way too wide I think, also his chest and side should be a bit more defined.

I really like the rough look of the piece, it just feels a bit too unfinished at times.
In general it is a totally lovely artwork though, keep it up

Beautiful. I love what you did to it, though the upper part looks unfinished and not drawn the same way as the rest, which looks a little bit weird.

If you've checked your WIP, you know what I think of it. I still see some of the same flaws....

Great sense of movement and passion evoked in this piece. They are becoming one as the passion takes over, relying on emotion as they dive into each other blinded by their love for each other.

This is one of the most sensual artworks that I have ever seen... Cannot describe what shivers I felt when I looked at this picture. You can almost feel the warmth of love...
